Week 3: Production Management Crew

This week the production management crew formulated  a more in-depth budget plan after receiving wish-lists of items from all of the various group leaders.  The basic estimates of expenses are now recorded and give us a better idea of how much money will need to be spent and where the money is being allocated.  Although this project has unfortunately become over budget, by recording our expenses and setting aside the proper funds beforehand, we can limit the amount of extra money we must spend.

We also touched base with the various groups in order to get a better idea of their respective progress.  The building crew specifically has done some really great work on the build, with a lot of the painting already finished, along with monitors placed in their correct positions, and preparations for the floor setup already being made.  It's great to see the room come together!

The other groups have also made excellent progress, and are really starting to get into the flow of things as their checklists become more and more complete.  Marketing crew showed us their social media sites and in-progress website, while we confirmed with them the dates and timeline for their posts.  They also informed us of their general expenses of printing and maintaining the server which we informed them must be below $50 total.

All in all, the escape room is coming along and although this week will be rather hectic and quite the scramble, it is good to see progress and more concrete plans being made for how the tasks will be tackled.
